Daniel J. East
Virginia Born & Georgia Raised
Daniel East has been performing all his life. "All the world's a stage... " is his motto. He has appeared in numerous plays, been featured in televised talent showcases, worked behind the scenes on and appeared in several films, and recently lent his vocal talents to the Hallmark channels production of "Mysterious Island". His are the blood curdling screams of "the Praying mantis decapitation", the "second pirate eaten by the chameleon" and the Asian pirate who says "you and whose army?"
Musically he has composed music on Mandolin, Guitar, Caliber, Banjo, Mandolin, ukulele, penny whistle and recorder. He wrote the score for his first musical play as a Senior in high school, which was performed by a summer-stock company. He can also be heard playing Didjeridoo and all percussive instruments on his self-produced solo album, "Autumn Man."
Acting as front "mad-man" for the indescribable "Buds of May," he has, uh, stunned audiences at music festivals and concert venues accross the country for over ten years. All of these experiences culminate in the Performing Machine which has come to be DANNY "the roof is on fire" EAST!!! |
